On solvability of some boundary value problems for a fractional analogue of the Helmholtz equation
In this paper we study some boundary value problems for fractional analogue of Helmholtz equation in a rectangular and in a half-band. Theorems about existence and uniqueness of a solution of the considered problems are proved by spectral method.
متن کاملInverse Laplace transform method for multiple solutions of the fractional Sturm-Liouville problems
In this paper, inverse Laplace transform method is applied to analytical solution of the fractional Sturm-Liouville problems. The method introduces a powerful tool for solving the eigenvalues of the fractional Sturm-Liouville problems. The results how that the simplicity and efficiency of this method.
متن کاملPositive solutions for P-Laplace problems with nonlinear time-fractional differential equation
In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for semi-linear elliptic equations with a sign-changing weight function in weighted Sobolev spaces. By investigating the compact embedding theorem and based on the extraction of the Palais-Smale sequence in the Nehari manifold which is a subset of the weighted Sobolev spaces, we derive the existence of the multiple pos...
متن کاملPositive Solution for P-laplace Problems with Nonlinear Time-fractional Differential Equation
In recent years, fractional differential equations are widely used in the many academic disciplines--viscoelastic mechanics, Fractal theory and so on. Furthermore, fractional differential equations can be used to describe some abnormal phenomenon. For instance, fractional convection-diffusion equation can be used to describe the fluid of abnormal infiltration phenomenon in the medium. In this p...
متن کاملWeak and Viscosity Solutions of the Fractional Laplace Equation
Aim of this paper is to show that weak solutions of the following fractional Laplacian equation { (−∆)su = f in Ω u = g in Rn \ Ω are also continuous solutions (up to the boundary) of this problem in the viscosity sense. Here s ∈ (0, 1) is a fixed parameter, Ω is a bounded, open subset of Rn (n > 1) with C2-boundary, and (−∆)s is the fractional Laplacian operator, that may be defined as (−∆)u(x...
